The Juvenile Probation Unit grants a juvenile probationer the opportunity to undergo treatment away from the juvenile detention facility.  With minimul exposure to the physical setting of the court, probationers are encouraged to be accountable for their actions and to organize their behavior, attitudes and ambitions in a pro-social manner.   Case assessments are made and case plans developed which are consistent with probations conditions set by the court.  Participation in school, community work service, employment and counseling are monitored.  Individual, family, group and crisis management counseling are offered.
